This first article for "Choices" will hopefully frame what this collection is all about. How do we bring God into the choices that we make? It's been said that the mile markers along the road of life are the decisions we make each day. How can we know God's will for those decisions? In the Choices collection of articles we will look for answers to those questions.

There have been many tools and tactics created over the ages to help people make good decisions. A pros and cons list is one of the earliest forms of those tools. In fact, you use a mental version of the pros/cons list every day, often without realizing you’re doing it. A typical pros and cons list looks like the image below.
