The "Choices" collection of articles will be about one particular aspect of Christian spiritual maturity - discernment. In this series of articles we will consider how we find and qualify the information we need to make educated, faith based choices about how we respond to the questions and challenges of living in the 21st century.
To explore what we will call discernment based decision making (DBDM for short) we will begin with how the bible defines discernment. In summary, a spirit of discernment is the ability to distinguish truth from falsehood, reality from fiction or good from evil.
