The Christian Soldier series is a collection of writings and podcasts designed to help Christians who are confused or angry due to the seemingly never ending social upheaval in our country today. The news, with it's endless feed of culture wars, injustice, threats and crises seems almost designed to inflict every bad emotion from depression to outrage. But when the dysfunctional aspects of our society touch our loved ones in the form of financial distress, addiction or emotional crisis it can be devastating.

Dealing with all of this can, in some ways, be easier for those who don't believe in God. It leaves one free to simply pick the good guys and bad guys, choose up sides and then either huddle with their tribe or venture into battle for the cause. For Christians, it's a bit more complicated. Because we do believe in an omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient father who is firmly seated on the throne of the universe we have a lot more questions to reconcile.
