God gave us all of our emotions.
God loves a kind of honesty that many of us are not used to. The world that often tells us to hide or minimize our emotions, to keep them tucked away and show only what feels strong or certain. But God sees all of our emotions the moment we feel them in our heart. He welcomes them. He calls us to speak them to Him aloud, to come fully into His presence. I think that’s one reason He gave us the Psalms, to encourage us to do that. Psalm 118 is a good example.
