Superpower or Kryptonite?

For most of us, the joy of Christmas has become a fond memory by now and the reality of the new year has set in. You may be thinking that 2024 is looking a lot like 2023. Most of the same problems seem to have made the move to the new year intact. If your holiday glow has faded, I understand how you feel, I’ve been there more than once. But this new year can be different. The good news is that you may have a superpower that can make 2024 a great year. Unfortunately, there is also some bad news. The world has lots of kryptonite that can kill off your superpower before you even know you’ve got it.

So, what am I talking about? Your superpower is grace. The kryptonite is offense. And technically, this really isn’t news. It’s pretty much how things have always been. The thing is, if you’re a Christian it’s all more relevant now than it’s been in a long time.
