The Most Famous Chapter in the Bible

What would you guess is the most famous chapter in the bible? Everyone has their favorite passages so how do we decide such a question? If we quantify the most famous by the number of times a chapter has been used as a prayer, recited in a ceremony, printed on a poster, or the number of people who know it by heart – I doubt many of us would argue that it’s probably the 23^rd Psalm.

If there is a second-place finisher in the contest, chances are it would also be one of the Psalms and likely one written by David. This is a great time of year to explore why the Psalms are so endearing to so many people. Let’s take a closer look at the most famous Psalm and its author in our study of the bible today.
